The Hollywood Hitlist

2017 seems to have been the year of revelations. Many powerful celebs and execs have been the faces of many unexplained and unwanted sexual advances. Let's not be naïve here. We all know that people in power positions oftentimes misuse their power. You will probably see this on your own jobs as we speak, but I digress. This year, alone, some of Hollywood's top dogs have had their darkness dragged into the light of 7 daylights. And the madness still unfolds as we speak. Harvey Weinstein, Ben Affleck, Kevin Spacey, Matt Lauer, and today, Russell Simmons are only a handful of the many being accused of taking sexual advantage of others. As I sit listening to all of the accusations I ask myself , "did they not think that this would eventually catch up to them, or did they think that they were so powerful that no one would ever speak upon it?"

In the past couple of years, 7th Heaven actor Stephen Collins and Comedian Bill Cosby were dragged straight to hell over accusations of sexual assaults and molestation charges. I wonder if these recent violators were secretly sitting down clenching their own proverbial pearls, in hopes that all of what they had done would not rise to the surface. The irony of the situation is that it seems like someone has pulled the trigger on Hollywood's biggest secrets and it seems like each day their is a new person in the line of fire. Lauryn Hill once sang, "The ones on top, won't make it stop.......so convinced that they might fall".
