Don't Want You Back

A lot of relationships didn't make it through the Holiday season. With that being, Leela James delivers a smooth lyrical vibe of the highs and lows of love. Each and every one of us has been through the breaks ups and make ups, hoping that the person would change, only to get to the realization that it's not going anywhere. This is one of those songs that you have on repeat mode, when you think of your break up. Leela James is one of the most underrated singers around. But, what I loved in the music, I hated in the creative of the video. What bothers me about videos sometimes is that the creative visual doesn't match the songs lyrics. The whole south central LA vibe with the female gang attire had nothing to do with an off and on love affair. I've been in way to many of these "I wanna come back" relationships to give a better visual display than this. But, hey I don't get paid to do creative, YET, so I will stick to writing about them. Enjoy!
