When Are You Gonna Learn

When I was younger and in elementary school, we did this thing around election time called a mock election. It was meant to give the students a look at what voting is like and how the process voting takes place. Well, a little black boy in Houston Texas underwent the same thing but when he came home and told his mother, she took to social media to show her disapproval. She wanted to show her disgust for her son saying that he voted for Donald Trump in the mock election. So much so, that she decided to pack him a suitcase and hand him a sign saying that he voted for Donald Trump and that he had to leave her house. A joke is a joke, and I get it but what I find stupid about the whole thing is that she live streamed it on Facebook. Do I think that this lady actually put her 7 year old out of the house because he voted for Donald Trump in a mock election at school? No. This is no different than the Jimmy Kimmel skit where the parents act like they ate all of the kids Halloween candy. The kids would fall out and get angry and all of this was for a laugh. Same shit here, but this time she's brought an investigation upon herself with her local police and CPS. When Facebook started this whole live stream, I just knew that it was going to be a hot ass mess. People, when are you going to learn that you can't do everything that you see others doing. Now this video has went viral and everyone knows her son's name and the fact that he's going to be ridiculed because of some prank that his own mother pulled on him and aired out for the world to see. Everything is not for public consumption. Was the mother's actions harsh? Yea to some degree. I'm pretty sure after she turned the camera off she said, "Boy come in this house, I was just playing with you!" But that's the vital part that she left out. More than likely nothing will come from this, but unwanted attention.
