Clap Back Season

The term "clap back" is a new age term for something that we have been doing for many, many years. Back in the day, when someone said something about you, that you found offensive, you would wait until you saw them and confront them about it face to face. Today, social media makes it possible for you to quickly roll up on someone and let them know what's on your mind. And as much as we like to hold celebrities to a higher standard, they are the main ones who have been clapping back this season.

We have Kanye vs Jay Z, Charlamagne the God vs Jaheim, and poor Azealia Banks against everybody. Trust me when I tell you that even though they have coins, these celebrities can be as petty as the rest of us. During an Oct. 19 show in Seattle, Washington, Kanye aired out his feelings about Jay Z. Kanye got his silly ass on that stage and said that he was upset that Jay Z didn’t stop by his house after Kim Kardashian’s robbery incident in Paris. Seriously Kanye. At least he called you and asked how you were feeling. And the fact that your kids hadn't had a playdate has a lot to say about you and your friendship with Jay Z. It seems to me that you all don't really hang out like that. Because if you did, then you would've showed up at his home one day with your daughter and they would've met. Jay Z's only response was that he misses the old Kanye. This wasn't much news for me because Kanye has always had spastic actions. That head injury at the beginning of his career it to blame for all of that.

Next we have Mr. Jaheim Hoagland. Jaheim took a lot of heat this past weekend over his new press and curl hairdo. Don't ask me why or what made him do this to his hair, but that's his head and he ain't my man so I can care less. Jaheim took to Twitter and was clapping back at everybody. Old folks, lil' kids, and handicap people. Everybody. But he took it very personal when Charlamagne the God had personal input and called him the "Donkey of the Day" on his radio show. Now, word on the street according to FAMELOUS is that Jaheim's beef with Charalamagne The God is not about Jaheim latest hairstyle comments, Jaheim beef with Charalamagne is a little deeper than we know. Charalamagne did an interview with Joe Budden and accused Joe of having a sexual relationship with singer Jaheim.

If this is the real reason, then it would explain why Jaheim went above and beyond to let him know that he has hands for him.

I don't even know if I should even begin to talk about Azealia Banks and who shes feuding with because her body count is too damn long to list. She claps back at fans. She has had online feuds with Disney's Skai Jackson, One Direction's Zayn Malik, and recently she accompanied Rza of the Wu Tang Clan, to a party at Russell Crows suite and got into it with him. Now I hear that she is even feuding with Rza. OK, I understand that shit happens every now and then but, girl, I'm looking at you outta the corner of my eyes. You are getting into too many squabbles with people for the issue not to be you. Please have several seats and focus on your career.

So what it all boils down to is this. We look up to people on financial levels as GOALS. They are doing the same things as us. They have petty tendencies like some of us and they clap back when people piss them off, just like us. Clap back season is real out here. Be careful about who you publicly offend because they will not hesitate to put you on blast publicly on the World Wide Web.
